Hey everyone!
So, I’ve been on quite the rollercoaster trying to build an online business. I started by diving into everything I could find—buying ebooks, enrolling in courses, subscribing to newsletters, and watching countless YouTube videos. I tried my hand at so many things: writing articles to earn Adsense income, creating and selling ebooks, and even diving into video creation. I gave it my all, from building websites with HTML and Micromedia software to eventually shifting to WordPress.
But despite all the effort, none of it seemed to work out. I tried ecommerce, dropshipping, affiliate programs—promoting other people’s products for commissions—but nothing clicked. My website got hit by Google’s Panda and Penguin updates and ended up getting banned. I tried everything: SEO, SEM, and paying for ads on Google and Facebook. I was hopping from one platform to another, desperately trying to get noticed, but it was exhausting.
I kept asking myself, “What am I doing wrong?” I learned, adjusted, and tried again. When I thought I had a breakthrough, I faced new challenges. I ventured into creating a YouTube channel about cryptocurrency, but it got banned due to promoting blockchain companies as sponsors. It felt like every time I got close to success, something would knock me back.
Then came the pandemic. Just when I was ready to throw in the towel, I started exploring short videos on TikTok, which was booming at the time. I even tried live streaming to sell products, but quickly realized that lifestyle wasn’t for me. I dabbled in trading crypto and forex, learning various strategies, but ended up losing all my hard-earned money. It was disheartening, to say the least.
Throughout all of this, my biggest challenge has been language. English isn’t my first language, and grammar issues have always been a stumbling block for me. I felt like this was the main thing holding me back, making me doubt whether I’d ever succeed.
But then, ChatGPT and other AI tools came along. They’ve been game-changers, helping me with everything from design issues—like thumbnails and web graphics—to streamlining my content creation process. With these tools, I feel like I’m finally ready to try again.
So, I’m starting over with a fresh perspective and a more strategic plan. I’m going to use everything I’ve learned and incorporate AI to help me tackle my weaknesses and enhance my strengths. This time, I’m committed to making it work and avoiding burnout.
Here are the 10 things I’m doing differently this time around:
- Niche Focus: I’m narrowing down my focus to a specific niche to build a more dedicated audience.
- Quality Over Quantity: Prioritizing high-quality content and presentation over sheer volume.
- Strategic Planning: Developing a clear and detailed content and business plan from the start.
- Leveraging AI Tools: Using ChatGPT and other AI tools to handle design, content creation, and strategy.
- Consistency: Maintaining a regular schedule for content and updates to build momentum.
- Engaging with the Audience: Actively interacting with viewers and readers to build a community.
- Diversifying Platforms: Expanding my reach across multiple platforms for greater exposure.
- Learning from Analytics: Continuously analyzing performance data to refine strategies and content.
- Monetization Strategy: Implementing diverse monetization methods to create multiple revenue streams.
- Embracing Adaptability: Staying flexible and open to change based on feedback and market trends.
I’m excited to share this journey with you and keep you updated on my progress. Thanks for your support, and stay tuned for more as I tackle this new chapter with renewed energy and a solid plan.
